Oil Heat
Heating oil, or oil heat is a liquid petroleum product used to fuel furnaces, boilers, and hot water heaters. Kerosene is also derived from crude oil, and is slightly more refined than fuel oil, making it the choice for outdoor liquid fuel storage tanks.
Oil heat is economical, safe, and reliable. Heating oil accounts for about 25% of the yield of a barrel of crude oil. Compared to other fuels, oil heat burns very clean, and despite price volatility in recent years, is still a terrific value.
